Just 9 days to go before the Convoy To Calais! Hundreds of vehicles are set to join the convoy which will be a huge moving protest to demand government action of the refugee crisis, in adition to bringing much needed aid to refugees trapped in the Calais camp. Oxford will have it's own mini convoy to join the main one in London on our way to Calais.
Oxfordshire Unison healthworkers report that donations of aid are mounting up, Lush have promised another donation of toiletries, and on top of the £600 pledged by Unison Health, another £348 has been raised on Justgiving and around £90 from various events.
Apologies for the late notice, but there will be a meeting tonight - Thursday 9 June at 7pm at the function room in St Aldates Tavern, 108 St Aldates OX1 1BU to discuss where we are at and what is needed.
